WLC Retreat Series
The Women's Leadership Community (WLC) Retreat Series
creates a time-out for women leaders in mid-life and mid-career. We provide the
conditions to access both the inner and outer resources needed to
respond wisely, intentionally, and compassionately in work and
life. We create a learning community that explores leadership through stories,
reflection, and dialogue. This learning community provides
encouragement, challenge, deep inquiry, and accelerated development. We explore questions about authenticity, meaning, and purpose in our
work and receive tools for creating more congruence between who we are and
what we bring to our work.
Participants attend 4 retreats held over eight to nine months. Retreats
are held in a comfortable setting surrounded by the beauty of the natural world. The program balances time alone, time in structured
exercises, and time in community.
WLC
is facilitated by a seasoned trio of facilitators who practice
shared leadership and learning. This emergent leadership model, guided by our common principles and practices helps each
participant bring out her unique gifts and strengths as a leader. Each group's
experiences add to our collective wisdom.
Women come from Canada, South America, and the U.S. and every possible
background, including corporate executives, academics, writers and artists, and
women in transition. They bring their rich life, work, and community
experiences to the program. And the journey does not end after the first year.
Learning experiences available to members include Monthly
Circles, Alumnae Reconnection and
Renewal Retreats, and other special Events. Applications

2009 WLC Retreat Series
This four-part series of retreats will be held at the ARC Retreat Center near Cambridge, MN, about 1 hour north of the Twin Cities. Each retreat meets from Wednesday to Friday.
The dates for the 2009 WLC Retreat Series are:

June 3-5
September 16-18
November 18-20
