Conscious Embodiment with Wendy Palmer

Level 2 Workshop
April 18-20, 2008

Wendy Palmer returned to the Twin Cities to offer a Friday evening to Sunday afternoon workshop that buildt on her previous teaching. This workshop was offered to previous participants of Wendy's workshops, and included a combination of group exercises, meditation, and discussion designed to meet the needs of the participants. Wendy teaches a personal "centering" practice that cultivates an embodied presence that feels confident, compassionate and generous.

An Invitation to Radical Leadership, Debbie Ackley

Friday Morning, November 9, 2007
WLC co-founder Debbie Ackley, consultant and poet, led a morning of exploration into leadership for these times. Debbie  read from her new book of mythic poems, Born from Silence, Provide a framework for thinking about new forms of leadership and invite a dialogue on leadership for today's challenges. We explored the need to move beyond the heroic individual archetype of leadership to one that is communal, ecological and compassionate, one that taps the deep root of wisdom.
